After School Care

The After-School Care Program provides time to play (outside if weather permits), to do homework, some quiet time for reading, coloring, etc.  We do not have the personnel to provide enrichment tutoring at homework time.  If students are having difficulty with homework, some help will be given, but not to the extent that the other children are left unattended.

For students remaining with a teacher for academic help or tutoring, the After-School Care time will begin when the teacher brings the student to the room and the time is recorded.  Students attending sports, cheerleading and/or choir practices will be sent to their respective practices from After-School Care at those times. The After School Program is available from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.
