The Saint Raphael School PTA would like to remind everyone that we are participating in Box Tops / Coke Caps and Soup Label collections to help raise money for the school.  If anyone did not receive a collection bag and would like to participate, please contact Jon Nezezon at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Dear Friends of Saint Raphael School:
Our 2012 Tricky Tray preparations are underway!! The magnitude of this work is
great but the love for our children is greater. With your help, last year we raised
$35,000 for our Saint Raphael Students! This would not have been possible without
our Event Sponsors.
Help us...help you! We had over 400 people in attendance at our event last year. All
of our sponsors can benefit from extended marketing exposure through our church
bulletin, event brochure, signage and other promotional efforts directed toward
potential customers! We have over 4,000 families registered in our parish that read
the “Thank You for Event Sponsorship” in our 2012 Easter Bulletin.
We are once again counting on your support. This year, we have three levels of
sponsorship from which to choose. Please select the one that best meets your needs
and fill out the attached form with your donation to the address listed below.

Tricky Tray Gift Auction - Class Baskets

The Tricky Tray Gift Auction Event is scheduled for March 24, 2012, so mark your calendars!
Preparations are under way for this year’s Tricky Tray Gift Auction.  This auction is our school’s largest fundraiser.  Last year the school raised $35,000 at this event.  Please help us exceed that goal this year!
Below are themes for this year’s class baskets:
Pre-K3: Summer Fun – beach toys, swim floats, goggles, sun tan lotion,
PreK4:  Breakfast on the Go -
Kindergarten- Mrs. A - Arts & Crafts – Paint, brushes, smocks, fingerpaint, stickers,  construction paper
Kindergarten – Mrs. Davis:  School Snacks Basket – chips, popcorn, cookie snack paks
1st Grade: - 2nd Grade:  Family Movie Night – variety of family “G” rated movies, popcorn and candy
3rd Grade: - Hair Products Basket – hair spray, gel, shampoo, hair ties, brushes, combs
4th Grade: - Don’t get “Board” – assorted board games, card games, etc.
5th Grade: - Hot off the Grill
6th Grade: - Italian basket – pasta,
7th Grade: - Spring Cleaning – cleaning products, mop, broom, dustpan, scrub brush
8th Grade: - Let’s Bake basket – cake mixes, pans, cookie sheets, brownie mix
We are asking the families of Saint Raphael School to help with the success of our event by donating new unused items for the class baskets.  Please send the items that fit the theme of the basket assigned to your class/classes to the attention of your room parent or simply a $5.00 donation per child in which the room parents can use to purchase items for the baskets.  We are asking for this to be sent in by February 10th.

Student Aid Form for SY 12-13

Families who wish to apply for Diocesan Grant for SY 12-13 are required to mail a completed PSAS application (attached and also available in the school office) no later then March 30, 2012 to Private School Aid Service, P.O. BOX 89434, Cleveland , OH 44101-6434. Please be advised in order to be considered to receive a Parish Grant, you are required to submit a PSAS application.
