Spiritual:

Opportunities for religious development are integrated into daily classroom life, religion classes, and weekly Mass. Students grow in faith during Para-liturgical services on Ash Wednesday, the Blessing of the Classrooms, Saint Blaise’s Feast Day/Blessing of Throats, the Stations of the Cross and May Crowning. Also, Grade 2 prepares and receives the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Academics:

Emphasis is placed on the teaching of the core values and curriculum through hands-on interdisciplinary instructional strategies. The use of the technology lab and interactive whiteboards enhance learning for these students.

Special Events:

Students enjoy class trips to the pumpkin patch, an apple orchard, and the Franklin Institute. They celebrate a Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas with a visit from Santa and march in an Easter Bonnet parade. Students experience project-based learning with a ‘ride’ on the Polar Express, presenting an Authors’ Tea and the Aero Space Expo.
