Our Faith
At Saint Raphael School, our Catholic faith is at the center of all that we do and all that we are. Rooted in the belief that every child is a Gift of God, ur students study and learn about the importance of faith and Gospel values in all aspects of our school community.
Our youngest learners in our Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms are taught to understand the love that God has for them. We introduce them to the practice of prayer and help them discover their unique role in the world. Our Second Grade students study in preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Students in grades three to five begin to learn about the mission of the Church, its structure, prayers, scriptures, saints, liturgical seasons, and more. In middle school, students focus on reading and studying the commandments, Church history, and the Holy Spirit. "As soon as you walk through the front door and up the stairs of Saint Raphael School, the Church is in front of you, at the heart of the building. There is no distinction between the church and the school. They are simply one, led by the undeniable wisdom and inspiration of God's love." |
